Why Is There No 2003 List?
In 2003, the Capitol Choices Editorial Board decided to change the dates of our annual lists to follow the date protocol of the major youth book award lists. Thus, books published in 2003, instead of comprising a 2003 list, were named to the 2004 list. That's why you will not find a 2003 list on our site!
